File Transfer

Telephone systems such as the Nortel Networks BCM use File Transfer to provide SMDR Data.

To configure CallTraQ to collect this type of data:

1.Ensure the Nortel Networks BCM is connected to your Local Area Network.
2.Ensure the PC that will have the CallTraQ software installed is also on the same local area network.
3.Configure your telephone equipment to "Place" its unmodified call record file(s) into a folder somewhere on your network.
4.Configure the Nortel Networks BCM to provide SL-1 style records.
5.Map the Drive / Folder from step 3 above onto the PC that will have the CallTraQ software installed. CallTraQ requires the folder from step 3 to be mapped as a Drive and Folder.
6.During the Software Installation, select the folder from step 3 as the folder to scan for available data.

Backup:
If you wish to keep backups of these raw files from the Nortel Networks BCM, then simply add a "BackUp" folder under the folder in item 1 above.

That's it !!
