The Universal Serial Bus represents an improved way peripheral devices such as mice, keyboards, sound cards, modems, printers and similar devices are connected to your PC. Most PC's built in the last 5 years have USB Ports. Windows 98, NT, 2000 and XP Support USB Ports

Below is a picture of a (Dual) USB Port you may find on the back (or front) of your PC.

If you have purchased your CallTraQ System with the Secure Call Buffer option, then the call buffer has both a serial connection, and a built-in USB Serial Port. In this case, you can simply plug in the USB connector, and install its driver.

If your computer DOES NOT have a spare COM Port, consider ordering a USB to Serial Converter from Telcom FX.
